· Since you have the bump steer kit, I don't think you will need anything but the factory, centered rack bushings. You would need the off set bushings IF you have lowered the car, and don't have the bump steer kit. You CAN put a pos chebby engine into a Ford, but it will ALWAYS be a FORD. · Secure the car on Jack Stands. 2. Remove Passenger side tie-rod end from steering knuckle. 3. Remove Y-pipe. Before you continue, mark the bracket location on the rack. 4.
